Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament
Second-straight season winning the MPSF Tournament
Quarterfinals: Sacramento State 6, Air Force 2

Advancing in the Big Show
• Advanced to the second round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championships for the second-straight season
First Round: Sacramento State 2, Santa Clara 1
Second Round: UCLA 4, Sacramento State 1

Crushing California
• Hornets defeated UC Davis, Stanford, Loyola Marymount and No. 10 ranked UC Irvine in four straight games.

Protect this House
• Sacramento State is in the midst of the greatest unbeaten streak, regardless of sport, in school history. The Hornets have gone unbeaten in 21 straight home games, going 16-0-5 in those games.

Back-to-back 10+ win season
• The Hornets won 12 games in 2009 and posted 11 wins in 2010. Sacramento State had just one 10-win season previously in it's Div. 1 history, coming in 1992.



The Hornets advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season and won their first-ever home tournament match, 2-1, versus Santa Clara in the opening round.

• Named to All-MPSF Tournament Team
• Paced the Hornets with eight assists

Fernando Cabadas

 Ernesto Carranza and Fernando Cabadas were both chosen in the Major League Soccer Supplemental draft on Jan. 18, 2011. Carranza went to Chivas USA while Cabadas was selected by the New England Revolution. Carranza was invited to the MLS Player Combine prior to the draft.
