CASTILLO NAMED TO GOAL.COM FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICA TEAM

Castillo was named to the Goal.com Freshman All-America Team after a stellar 2010 season.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento State's Cesar Castillo was named to the Goal.com Freshman All-America team, the publication revealed on Thursday.
The freshman goalkeeper helped the Hornets to a 11-4-7 season which featured a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournmanet championship and NCAA men's soccer tournament first-round win over Santa Clara.
Castillo tallied the most shutouts (8) and the second best goals against average (0.90) in school history in his first season on campus. He also made 94 saves, the second most in a single-season at Sacramento State.
He ranked first in the MPSF in saves, second in save percentage (.825) and shutouts and third in goals against average.
Sacramento State's only other freshman all-America selection was Max Alvarez last season. He was selected to the Soccer American All-Freshman Team.
