SACRAMENTO, Calif.— Midfielder Noah Delgado’s two unassisted goals in

the 62nd and 80th minute, respectively, gave Fresno State (8-4-1, 1-3) a

2-0 win over the Hornets in MPSF Conference action Friday afternoon at

Hornet Field.

Bulldog goalkeeper Jeremy Proud recorded the shutout with seven saves.

Junior goalkeeper Chris Haustein finished the contest with four saves.

The Hornets are now 4-8-1 on the year and 0-4 in MPSF play.

The team will next travel to San Jose State on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 7:30
