MEN’S SOCCER HOSTS PACK THE HOUSE DAY AGAINST THE NO. 2 NEW MEXICO LOBOS
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State men''s soccer team will host Pack the House Day on Sunday, Nov. 6, against second-ranked New Mexico at Hornet Field.Kids can gain free entrance to the 1 p.m. match by wearing a team jersey, Hornet green or by presenting a coupon. Festivities will kick off two hours before match time, rain or shine, with the Soccer Skills Challenge starting at 11 a.m. Hornet fans are encouraged to come out early and test their dribbling, shooting and scoring skills in several contests.
During halftime their will also be fan giveaways and interactive contests.
Earlier this season, the Hornets broke their attendance mark when 1,278 fans witnessed the team''s 2-0 victory over UC Davis.
Sacramento State will attempt to top that number and maintain its undefeated 6-0-0 home record against its Mountain Pacific Sports Federation rivals.
Adult admission to the match is $5 and Sacramento State students are free with their OneCard.
Prior to Sunday’s match, the Hornets will also host MPSF foes UNLV at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4. Sacramento State finishes the regular season at home with a 1 p.m. match, Sunday, Nov. 13 against San Jose State.
