SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State men’s soccer team took time to give back to the community this holiday season when coaches and players made their 13th annual holiday visit to the UC Davis Children’s Hospital to meet with patients and their families.

Head coach Michael Linenberger, senior Bryan Oliver, junior Cesar Castillo, junior Mason McCann and sophomore Andres Garcia spent time with patients on Dec. 18 at UC Davis Children's Hospital.

The student-athletes spent time talking with families in the pediatric intensive care unit and on the pediatric floor. They visited with each patient and spread a little holiday cheer at a time when it is hard for patients and their families to be in the hospital.

The Hornets also handed out Sacramento State men's soccer t-shirts, soccer balls and stuffed animals donated by donors Philip and Judy Gosland.

Sacramento State would like to thank the UC Davis Medical Center staff for this wonderful opportunity each year.
