LIMITED SPACES REMAIN FOR MEN'S SOCCER SUMMER CAMPS
7/10/2012
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Limited spaces are still open for the Sacramento State men's soccer team's five remaining summer camps.
Still available are spots in four sessions of the boys soccer camp, with five-day sessions running each week from July 9 to August 3. There is also an advanced Individual Development camp for ages 14 and up, which takes place on July 21 and 22.
The Boys Camp is held from 9 a.m. to noon and is designed for boys of all abilities as campers are grouped by age and skill level. Daily activities include instructional practices and games in a fun and challenging environment with emphasis on individual soccer technique, team-building, and sportsmanship values. For families with at least two players signed up for the camp, a $15 discount per camper is offered.
The advanced ID Camp will include all three sessions over two days. Each session will begin with a dynamic warm-up followed by technical instruction in small group settings. Each session of camp will conclude with both 11 vs. 11 and small-sided games.
Both camps are operated and staffed by Sacramento State men's soccer coaches and student-athletes. A Sacramento State soccer t-shirt will be provided for campers, but all other gear (water bottle, shin guards, cleats, shorts, sunscreen) need to be brought with by campers.
Questions about either camp can be directed to assistant coach Matt McDougall at mmcdougall@csus.edu.
