A midfielder, Trask played three seasons with the Sage Creek High School Bobcats. As a freshman, Trask was named the Varsity team captain and was the team's leading scorer. After taking his sophomore season off, Trask returned as team captain for his junior year. That same season, he was voted the team's MVP and was one of just two juniors to be named First Team All-League (Avocado West).

In 2017-18, Trask helped lead his team it its first ever CIF Championship.

With the LA Galaxy San Diego Elite, Trask scored 22 total goals during the 2018 season, 10 of which were game-tying or game-winning. He had one hat trick and two braces while helping his team clinch the Las Vegas Showcase Championship.

Before joining the LA Galaxy SD Elite, Trask spent seven seasons with San Diego Surf (2010-17) where he started nearly every game. He helped lead his team to the Olympic Development Program Final 18 in 2015 and was an Olympic Development Program Far West Regional Champion in 2014.

Linenberger on Jet: "Jet will bring a lot of versatility to our team. He can play anywhere in the midfield or wide in the back. He can score goals, he can create, and he will defend to the death. He is a tremendous teammate and will do anything to help his team be successful. He is a great addition to our team."
