MEN’S SOCCER AMONG TOP 10 IN FAR WEST REGION, CLOSING IN ON NATIONAL TOP 30

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Following an excellent showing at this past weekend's Wolverine Invitational, the Sacramento State men's soccer team finds themselves among the Far West region's best, ranked number seven by the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Poll for Week 4.

The ranking, which includes both of this past weekend's wins, is the team's first in the Top 10 this season. With the ranking, the Hornets jumped UCLA (#9, previously #7) and Cal (#8, previously #4).

Fullerton (#10) was the only other team to crack the top 10 after previously being unranked.

Sacramento State's weekend performance also garnered recognition from College Soccer News and their Top 30 National Poll. The Hornets were one of 12 teams to also receive votes, falling just outside the Top 30.
