Thomas Steinhoff matched his first round total of 78 and is tied at 34th along with John Bowen (76-80). Patrick Miller completes the lineup at 78-83-161 which is tied for 44th.

Nic Van Vuuren of Utah Valley State moved into first place after shooting a second-round best 68. Aengus McAllister of Francis Marion is second at 70-72-142. UNC''s Eric Higgins (72-71-143) is third and Jordan Ensrud (74-71-145) is tied for fourth with NDSU''s Eric Johnson (73-72-145).
