OGDEN, Utah — Sacramento State’s Margaux Sheehan tied for medalist honors at the Golf Mart/Lady Otter Invitational on Tuesday in Seaside, Calif., and was named the Big Sky Conference Golfer of the Week.Sheehan, a sophomore from Anchorage, Alaska, shot rounds of 78-75 at the Black Horse Golf Course. Her score of 155 tied her with Hawaii’s Kiilani Matsuyoshi for first place.
Sacramento State finished fourth in the tournament with consecutive rounds of 324 for a 648. Cal Poly was first at 638, followed by Chico State (646) and UC Riverside (647).
Earlier this fall, Sheehan finished 10th at the Sacramento State
Invitational.
