MOSCOW, Idaho --- The Sacramento State men’s golf team posted a team score of 293 in the final round to tie for seventh at the Vandal Fall Classic at the University of Idaho Golf Club on Saturday. The tournament was the first for the Hornets this season.The three-round event was won by Saint Mary’s who scored 843. Idaho (848), Boise State (865), Cal State San Marcos (875) and Idaho State (878) completed the top five. Sacramento State shot 299-294-293 to finish 43 strokes behind the Gaels.
Boise State''s Graham DeLaet was the medalist with rounds of 67-69-71-207. The Hornets were paced by Kyle Davis. Davis tied for 14th at 75-69-72-216.
