MEN'S GOLF MAKES CHARGE IN SECOND ROUND SACRAMENTO STATE INVITATIONAL

ELK GROVE, Calif. — A rare break in rain allowed for ideal playing conditions during the first day of the 7th annual Sacramento State Invitational, but in the end, Mother Nature prevailed again as the second round was halted by darkness. Teams will complete their remaining holes before starting the third round on Tuesday.

The freshman started his day with a bogey on the par-4 third before rattling off three birdies over the next six holes to drop to 2-under.
