2016-17 Season
One of three players to start all 31 games…was a team tri-captain…averaged 11.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots and 26.8 minutes per game…shot .632 (141-223) from the field, the best mark in Sacramento State single-season history…if he had enough field goal makes per game to qualify, the field goal percentage would have ranked as the eighth best mark in the nation…led the team with 13 dunks and a team-high tying six double-doubles…the points, rebounds and field goal percentage were all career highs…scored in double figures 20 times, including six of the final seven games of the season…had 18 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in a home win over Idaho State…the 16 rebounds were tied for the fourth best mark in the program’s Div. 2015-16 Season
Played in all 31 games, starting at center on 26 occasions…averaged 8.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game while shooting .565 from the field (100-of-177)…his 58 blocked shots ranked as the fourth best mark in program single-season history, and his 1.9 blocks per game led the Big Sky and ranked 53rd in the nation…had seven blocked shots in a home win over Southern Utah, setting the Sacramento State Div. I era single-game record…also among Big Sky leaders, he ranked sixth in field goal percentage and 11th in offensive rebounds per game (1.7)…scored in double figures 11 times…led the team with 13 dunks…had a career-high 19 points at Stanford on 8-of-13 shooting from the field in 28 minutes…had a stretch of four consecutive games in double figures (Dec. 12-Jan. 2), comprised of 13 points at Portland, 19 points at Stanford, 16 points vs. Pacific Union and 17 points at Portland State…was a +35 in plus/minus ratio…named Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Week on two occasions…his 102 career blocked shots are third most in program history…a Big Sky All-Academic selection for the second time…also named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for academic prowess.

2014-15 Season
Played in all 33 games, including 31 starts as a true sophomore…started all 18 conference games…averaged 7.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots per game while shooting .525 (96-183) from the field and .573 (43-75) from the free throw line…scored in double figures 10 times, including a season-high 16 points in a home win over Northern Arizona…shot .573 (55-96) from the field in conference play, the seventh best mark in the Big Sky…also tied for eighth in the league with 1.1 blocked shots per game against conference competition…led the team with seven dunks…had 13 points (6-of-8 shooting) and five rebounds in 18 minutes in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals against Eastern Washington…played a career-high 36 minutes and finished with 12 points in a win at UC Riverside…in four postseason games (two Big Sky Tournament, two CIT games), he shot .667 (12-18) from the field…made 9-of-15 free throw attempts in a home win vs. Montana.

2013-14 Season
Played in all 30 games as a true freshman, including three starts…finished with averages of 5.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 15.2 minutes per game on .493 (66-134) shooting from the field and .698 (37-53) from the free throw line…bumped those averages to 6.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 16.3 minutes on .538 shooting (50-93) from the floor against Big Sky competition…over the last eight games of the season, he averaged 9.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 20.6 minutes on .582 (32-55) shooting from the field…during that eight-game stretch, he scored in double figures four times after doing so just twice through the first 22 games of the season…posted first career double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) against Northern Colorado…had a season-best 18 points on the road against eventual Big Sky champion Weber State…had 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting in the regular season finale victory against Montana State, which clinched the program’s first Big Sky Tournament berth in eight years…narrowly missed another double-double in a home victory vs. Weber State after finishing with 14 points and nine rebounds…had a team-high 10 blocks…led the Hornets in rebounding on seven occasions, which tied for the team lead…a Big Sky All-Academic selection.

High School

A 2013 graduate of Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, Calif…began playing organized basketball for the first time as a freshman, and played four seasons for the Rams…began his sophomore year with the junior varsity squad before being promoted to the varsity team during the season…was the varsity team’s starting center during his junior and senior seasons…as a senior, he was named team captain, co-MVP of the Capital Valley League, first team all-league, first team all-Metro and team MVP for a Casa Roble squad that went 23-9 overall, 8-2 in league, and reached the CIF Div. III State Championships…was the team’s leading scorer, leading rebounder and leading shot blocker…finished with averages of 21.7 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while shooting better than 60 percent from the field and .840 from the free throw line…selected to the all-tournament team at all four tournaments Casa Roble participated, and was named the tournament MVP on two of those occasions…broke the Casa Roble High School single-game, and single-season shot blocking records…selected MVP for the North squad after scoring 21 points at the North vs. South Optimist All-Star Game…scored a career-high 41 points in Casa Roble’s 70-65 overtime win against Del Campo High School…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award from the San-Joaquin Section…as a junior, he averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots per game…helped lead the Rams to a 14-13 overall record, a 6-4 mark in the Capital Valley Conference and an appearance in the Sac-Joaquin Div. III section playoffs.

Graduated in May of 2017 with a sociology degree…parents are Shannon and Kristine…is the older brother of former Hornet Mason Stuteville…played in the summer of 2012 for the NorCal Pharaohs, an AAU squad coached by Matt Fahey and based out of Sacramento…was the team’s starting center, and finished the season with averages of 15.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game…has basketball in his bloodlines as his father, Shannon, played hoops at Langston University in Oklahoma and his mother, Kristine, played at Cal.
