Played in all 30 games, and started 24 times…started each of the final 24 games of the season, including starts in all 20 conference games…averaged 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 21.5 minutes per game on .435 (73-168) shooting from the field, .403 (29-72) from the 3-point line and .864 (19-22) from the free throw line…in conference play, he increased those numbers to 8.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 24.6 minutes per game on .463 shooting from the field…scored in double figures eight times, and led the team in scoring on three occasions…over a 13-game stretch from Jan. 2 - Feb. 13, he averaged 9.9 points and 4.4 rebounds on .485 shooting from the field…over the last eight games of the season, he averaged 4.0 points and 2.6 rebounds on .364 shooting from the field…posted season highs in points (20) and minutes (35) at North Dakota…had a season-best eight rebounds against Portland State…had 19 points and seven rebounds at Montana State…buried at least two 3-pointers in 11 games.

Played two years at Irvine Valley College (2011-13) in Irvine, Calif…a team captain, Mills was a first team all-Orange Empire Conference selection in 2012-13 after finishing with averages of 14.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals per game…shot .487 (150-308) from the field, .432 (32-74) from the three-point line and .813 (61-75) from the free throw line for a Lasers squad that went 16-12 overall and 7-5 in league play…also during the season, he scored in double figures in all but eight games, including a career-best 30 points in a 72-63 win over Santa Monica College…as a freshman (2011-12), Mills started 18 games for an Irvine Valley squad that went 20-6 overall, 9-2 in league, and advanced to the second round of the CCCAA South Regionals…averaged 7.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while shooting .444 (71-160) from the field and .833 (30-36) from the free throw line.
A 2011 graduate of Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Calif…a first team all-league selection during both his junior and senior seasons…as the team captain during his senior season in 2010-11, Mills led the team in both scoring (17.0 ppg) and rebounding (11.9), and helped the Aztecs to an 18-11 overall record and 7-5 mark in the Century League…also led the team in both scoring (12.7 ppg) and rebounding (4.2 rpg) during his junior season.
