SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- After winning its sixth straight home game Thursday night against North Dakota, Sacramento State hopes to make it seven in a row on Saturday evening when the team takes on Northern Colorado.
The first 500 fans in attendance that evening will receive a free t-shirt commemorating "Whiteout The Nest" night. Tip-off is 7:05 p.m.
Overall, Sacramento State has won six of its last seven games. During that seven-game span, the team is averaging 76.0 points while shooting .501 from the field and .462 from the 3-point line. The team is now 8-7 in the Big Sky, and sits in a tie for third place in the league standings.
Should the Hornets win Saturday night, the team would match its Div. I-era (1991-pres.) record for most consecutive home wins (7). In addition, seven straight home victories would tie for the fourth longest streak in school history (1948-pres.).
