Pocatello, ID (Sports Network) - Scott Henry scored a career-high 26 points
to lead the Idaho State Bengals to a 90-83 victory over the Sacramento State
Hornets in Big Sky Conference action.
Scott finished the game 11-of-17 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds, as
the Bengals (13-12, 6-6 Big Sky) won their second consecutive game. Jeremy
Brown added 24 points and six rebounds, while Rashad Kirkland chipped in 10
points for Idaho State.
Brandon Guyton paced the Hornets (10-15, 4-8) in defeat with 22 points on 5-
of-10 shooting from three-point land. Jimmy White added 17 points and six
boards, as Sacramento State lost its second consecutive game. Derek Lambeth
knocked in 13 points and Rashad Hooks recorded a double-double with 11 points
and 10 assists in a losing cause.
Despite only shooting 43.6 percent from the field in the first half, the
Bengals took a 44-40 advantage going into the break.
Idaho State knocked in a solid 58.1 percent of its shots from the floor in the
second half, as it pulled away for the seven-point victory.
The Bengals finished the game shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 87.5
percent from the foul line. The Hornets converted 46.8 percent of its field
goal attempts, but they weren't able to overcome 21 costly turnovers.
