Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - Steve Horne scored 19 points to lead the
Montana Grizzlies to a 66-59 victory over the Sacramento State Hornets in Big
Sky action.
David Bell tallied 17 points and Kevin Criswell added 11 points for Montana
(9-13, 3-4 BSC), which snapped a three-game slide.
Jimmy White and Raashad Hooks scored 15 points apiece for Sacramento State
(8-12, 2-5), which has lost five of its last six games. Chris Lange added 11
points for the Hornets.
Sacramento State held an early 15-6 lead, but Montana battled back to grab a
30-29 advantage at the break.
The Grizzlies led throughout the second half, hitting 8-of-11 free throws to
help seal the victory.
Montana outscored Sacramento State 20-9 from the line, a major reason it was
able to overcome 18 turnovers.
