Bozeman, MT (Sports Network) - Raashad Hooks scored 14 points to lead the
Sacramento State Hornets to a 72-66 victory over the Montana State Bobcats in
Big Sky Conference action.
Hooks finished the game 5-of-9 from the field with five rebounds and six
assists, as the Hornets (8-11, 2-4 BSC) snapped a three-game losing streak.
Derek Lambeth netted 13 points in the win, while Cedric Thompkins chipped in
11 points in only 16 minutes of action.
Pete Conway paced the Bobcats in defeat with 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting
from the field and 4-of-10 from behind the arc. Shea Washington turned in 11
points in defeat, while Casey Reynolds added 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting from
the floor.
Sacramento State shot a scorching 68.0 percent from the floor in the first
half and held a 43-30 lead at intermission.
In the second half, the Hornets connected on 7-of-9 from the charity stripe,
as they held off a pesky Bobcats team for the six-point victory.
