2007-08 Season
Played two minutes in the opening game of the season against Kansas State, but missed the rest of the year with injury....was granted a medical redshirt.

Prior to Sacramento State
Spent his freshman year (2005-06) at Porterville College in Porterville, Calif...used his redshirt year last season...started at both the point and shooting guard positions, and finished with averages of 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game...boosted those numbers against conference competition to 13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

High School
A 2004 graduate of Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Boston, Kasongo also played one season (2004-05) at Milford Academy Prep School in New Berlin, N.Y...at Milford Academy, he averaged 15.1 points, 9.1 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game...in high school, he was a two-time all-conference and all-city selection during his junior and senior seasons at Madison Park.

Born Aug. 31, 1984 in Zaire...son of Mary Madeleine Kabadyundi...majoring in psychology...played in the summer of 2004 with the Paul Pierce All-Stars, a travelling AAU team based out of Los Angeles...with that team, he averaged 17.0 points, 8.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game.
