One of two Hornets to start all 29 games…in his first season at the Div. I level, he averaged 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 30.5 minutes per game…shot .399 (116-291) from the field, .372 (29-78) from the three-point line and .807 (96-119) from the free throw line…led the team in free throws made, free throws attempted and steals, and was the team’s second leading scorer…against conference teams, he averaged a team-high 12.3 points per game…scored in double figures 19 times, and led the team in scoring on seven occasions…that included a 30-point performance in a home win over Portland State where he shot 13-of-18 from the field, 2-of-3 from the three-point line and 2-of-2 from the free throw line…the 30 points were the most scored by a Sacramento State player since 2009…the Hornets were 4-0 when he scored at least 20 points, and 7-2 when he attempted at least five free throws…had 20-plus point games in home wins over CSU Bakersfield (23), Montana State (21) and Northern Colorado (26)…in home games, he averaged 14.8 points on .472 shooting from the field and .429 from the three-point line…among conference leaders (overall), he ranked ninth in free throw percentage, 14th in assists and steals, and 15th in scoring and three-point percentage.

Spent two years at Fremont’s Ohlone College, redshirting in 2010-11, and playing his freshman season in 2011-12…as a freshman, he was a first team all-state and first team all-Coast Conference selection after averaging 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 53.0 percent (123-232) from the field, 40.9 percent (18-44) from the three-point line and 80.0 percent (100-125) from free throw line…averaged nearly five free throw attempts per game, and led Ohlone in points, field goals, free throws made and attempted, assists and steals…the team finished the year with a 15-12 overall record and an 8-4 mark in the Coast League (North Division).
A 2010 graduate of Washington High School in Fremont, Calif…during his senior season at Washington, he was a first team all-Mission Valley Athletic League selection…helped lead the Huskies to a 19-10 record after finishing with season averages of 21.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 56.0 percent (121-216) from the field, 40.8 percent (20-49) from the three-point line and 79.3 percent (73-92) from the free throw line…spent his sophomore season playing varsity ball for Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, Calif.
