2010-11 Season
Appeared in all 28 games, including 16 starts as a true freshman…averaged 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game while shooting 40.9 percent (63-154) from the field and 30.9 percent (29-94) from the three-point line…scored in double figures in seven games, including a season-high tying 17 points in the season finale at Northern Colorado…also had 17 points at McNeese State…buried at least two three-pointers in nine games…started 13 of the first 15 games of his collegiate career…played 40 minutes in overtime games at McNeese State and Eastern Washington…in the Northern Colorado game, he had 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-7 from the three-point line.
High School
A 2010 graduate of Buchanan High School…played all four years for the varsity squad…set the Buchanan High School record with 1,535 career points…was key in upgrading a program that went from being winless in the Tri-River Athletic Conference his freshman season to sharing the league title and making the Central Section Division I final as a senior…a two-time first team all-conference selection, including the Tri-River Athletic Conference MVP and first team all-Metro (by the Fresno Bee) as a senior…during the 2009-10 season, he helped Buchanan to a 23-8 overall record while leading the team in scoring (17.7), rebounding (7.8) and steals (1.9)…as a junior, he was first team all-conference and second team all-Valley after posting team highs in points (16.6 per game), rebounds (6.2 per game) and steals (2.0 per game)…two-time team captain…a second team all-conference choice as a sophomore.

Born May 29, 1991…parents are DeRon and Lisa Carbajal…an undeclared major…has basketball in his bloodlines, as his grandfather, Frank, was a longtime head coach and a member of both the California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and the Northern Colorado Athletics Hall of Fame, where he played from 1958-61…Carbajal’s father, DeRon, also has high school head coaching experience.
