2010-11 Season
Started all 28 games during the season…was the only Hornet to start every game…posted averages of 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 36.0 minutes per game…played at least 38 minutes on 10 occasions…shot 34.0 percent (106-312) from the field, 33.3 percent (52-156) from the three-point line and 79.6 percent (78-98) from the free throw line…led the Hornets in scoring, assists, minutes, three-pointers, steals and free throw percentage…among Big Sky leaders, he ranked first in minutes, second in both assists and steals, and seventh in free throw percentage…scored in double figures 18 times, and 33 times over the course of his two-year career in the Green and Gold…led the Hornets in scoring 12 times, and paced the team in assists on 22 occasions…had first career double-double with 17 points and a career-high 10 assists against Weber State on Feb. 26…scored a career-high 25 points (including 5-of-10 from the three-point line) against eventual conference regular-season champion Northern Colorado on Jan. 20…in Sacramento State history, his career totals rank him seventh in assists (234) and tied for seventh in free throw percentage (.834).
2009-10 Season
Appeared in all 30 games, including 15 starts…was the team’s second leading scorer after finishing with 10.3 points per game…had a team-high 47 steals, and finished with averages of 2.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game…shot 33.1 percent (90-272) from the field, 34.6 percent (36-104) from the three-point line and 86.9 percent (93-107) from the free throw line…ranked among the Big Sky’s top six players in free throw percentage (3rd), steals (6th), assists (6th) and assist-to-turnover ratio (6th, +1.2)…the free throw percentage was also the 29th best mark in the nation, and seventh best single-season mark in school history…over a seven-game span (Nov. 15-Dec. 5), he converted 25 consecutive free throws…in the final five minutes of games during the season, he was 50-for-53 (.943) from the free throw line…scored in double figures on 15 occasions, including a season-high 20 points in the Hornets’ road win at Idaho State…in the team’s upset at Oregon State, he totalled 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in 35 minutes…named the Big Sky’s Player of the Week after that game…had two steals or better in 12 different contests.
Prior to Sacramento State
Spent three years at Fresno City College where he played in 2006-07 and 2008-09 (redshirt in 2007-08)…as a sophomore in 2008-09, he was named the state co-player of the year and first team all-conference after leading Fresno City to a Central Valley Conference championship, a 34-1 overall record and a perfect 12-0 league mark…that season, he averaged 17.4 points, 5.1 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 44.9 percent (198-441) from the field, 43.6 percent (113-259) from the three-point line and 78.7 percent (100-127) from the free throw line…Fresno City won its first 34 games of the season and was ranked No. 1 in the state heading into the state tournament, but lost in the quarterfinals to Riverside Community College, 71-67…led the team in scoring, assists, field goals made, three-pointers made and free throws made…as a freshman in 2006-07, he played with current Hornet Mike Marcial in the Rams’ backcourt and helped the team to a 2007 California Community College State Tournament championship…that season, he averaged 8.3 points, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game…named to the all-tournament team at the state tournament after averaging 17.7 points during the team’s final three games…spanning parts of his freshman (2006-07) and sophomore (2008-09) seasons, Toles-Bey helped lead Fresno City to 47 consecutive victories.
High School
A 2006 graduate of Los Angeles’ King Drew Magnet High School…played two years at King Drew Magnet after transferring from Sarah T. Reed High School in New Orleans prior to his sophomore year…did not play at King Drew Magnet during his sophomore year, but was the team’s starting point guard his junior and senior seasons…was a first team all-conference and all-city selection both years when he led the team to conference titles in 2005 and 2006…during his senior season, he averaged 14.1 points, 6.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game…was a member of the varsity squad his freshman year at Sarah T. Reed.

Born Aug. 25, 1988…parents are John Toles-Bey and Leslie Henry…a communication studies major who is on pace to graduate in the summer of 2011…father, John, is an actor who has appeared in 28 movies and 21 television shows.
