Appeared in all 30 games, including 24 starts...one of three team captains, and one of the team’s hardest working players...an honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection, he led the Hornets in overall scoring (11.3 ppg) and scoring against Big Sky competition (13.3 ppg)...also posted team highs in rebounds (5.5 rpg), field goals made (119), field goals attempted (240), field goal percentage (.496), free throws made (100) and free throws attempted (142)...averaged 4.7 trips to the free throw line per game...among conference leaders, he ranked sixth in offensive rebounds (2.0 per game), seventh in free throws made, eighth in free throws attempted, 10th in field goal percentage, 12th in rebounding and 13th in scoring...scored in double figures 17 times during the final 19 games of the year, which included a career-high 25 points in the season finale...over that 19-game stretch, he averaged 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 53.0 percent from the field...posted double-doubles against both Idaho State (10 points, 10 rebounds) and Montana (14 points, 12 rebounds)...overall, he scored in double figures a team-best 22 times, and posted a team-high 21 dunks...among Sacramento State’s Div. Spent the 2006-07 season playing for the College of the Siskiyous in Weed, Calif...a first team all-Golden Valley Conference selection after taking a redshirt in 2005-06...in 2006-07, he averaged 17.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 blocked shots and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 45.1 percent (156-346) from the floor...also knocked down 20 three-pointers during the year and averaged 7.5 free throw attempts per game...buried 127 of his 195 free throw attempts (65.1 percent), including knocking down at least 10 freebies in three games during the season...scored in double figures in all but four of the 26 games he appeared, including 11 games with at least 20 points...over his final 13 games of the season, he averaged 21.8 points and 8.7 rebounds...that included back-to-back 30-point games against Columbia Junior College (33 points, 13 rebounds) and Sierra Junior College (30 points, 11 rebounds).
A 2005 graduate of Yreka High School in Yreka, Calif...played four sports for the Miners, including four years of basketball and football, three years of baseball and two seasons of track and field...in basketball, he was a two-time first team all-Northern Athletic League selection during both his junior and senior seasons...also a third team all-Northern Section choice as a senior...averaged 17.2 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots per game during his senior season...scored 29 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in a game against Central Valley High School during his senior season...nominated for Siskiyou County Athlete of the Year in 2005.
