2006-07 Season
Appeared in all 29 games, including 13 starts...finished second on the team with 12.8 points per game...also led the team with 72 three-pointers in 200 attempts (.360)...the 72 three-pointers were the third most in Sacramento State Div. I (1991-pres.) single-season history...also averaged 24.7 minutes, 1.7 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game...his overall field goal percentage (.360) matched his three-point field goal percentage (.360)...his 389 field goal attempts (140-389) were 59 more than any other player on the team...among Big Sky Conference leaders, he ranked fifth in three-pointers (2.5 per game), 15th in three-point field goal percentage and 16th in scoring...had five games with at least 20 points, including back-to-back games with a career-high 28 points against William Jessup (Nov. 22) and UC Davis (Nov. 25)...scored in double figures 18 times...had at least four three-pointers in a game on eight occasions...knocked down at least one three-pointer in all but four games...other 20-point games came against Bethany (23, 7-of-11 shooting), Portland State (23, 9-of-16 shooting) and Northern Colorado (21, 8-of-20 shooting)...had a career-high seven rebounds at Idaho State...led the team in scoring six times...averaged 15.5 points on .411 shooting at home, but just 10.6 points on .316 shooting on the road...already has 127 career three-pointers, 36 shy of breaking the Sacramento State Div. I career record.

2005-06 Season
Received honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference honors after averaging 11.6 points, 2.0 three-pointers and 2.0 rebounds per game...became the first Hornet freshman to garner all-conference honors since Nate Murase also received honorable mention accolades in 1998-99...after missing the first three games of the season to injury, Leath quickly became the Hornets’ sixth man, scoring in double figures 15 times...scored at least 20 points on six occasions...that included 20 points to lead the Hornets in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals at Northern Arizona...finished seventh in the league with an average of 2.04 three-pointers per game...led the team in scoring six times, including three of the team’s final six games of the season...knocked down at least three three-pointers 11 times...shot 42.9 percent (112-261) from the field, 37.7 percent (55-146) from beyond the three-point arc and a team-high 89.7 percent (35-39) from the free-throw line...averaged 18.7 points during his final three games of the season...among team leaders, he ranked first in three-pointers (55) and free throw percentage, and fourth in points (314) and minutes per game (22.9)...the 314 points were the most by a Hornet freshman during the Div. I era...among some of his 20-point efforts included a season-high 26 vs. Idaho State, and 23 points against both Montana State and Cal Poly...against conference competition, Leath raised his scoring average to 12.4 points per game.    

Prior to Sacramento State
Spent his freshman season (2004-05) at Los Angeles Valley Junior College...played two games before suffering an Achilles injury...because of the injury, the 2004-05 season counted as his redshirt year...in those two games, Leath averaged 31.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 3.5 assists per game.

High School
A 2004 graduate of Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, Calif...spent his junior and senior seasons at Grover Cleveland, his sophomore year at Birmingham High School (Van Nuys, Calif.) and his freshman year at Bishop O’Dowd High School (Oakland, Calif.)...a four-time all-league selection, Leath was named first team all-West Valley Conference, all-area, all-city and team co-MVP as a senior after averaging 18.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game...led Grover to West Valley League titles both years, and the team combined for a 44-9 record during those seasons...as a junior, he averaged 14.0 points and 5.0 rebounds while being named first team all-league and all-area.

Born July 8, 1986...son of Brian Leath and Rose Geddes...a communication studies major...in 2001, he played AAU basketball for the Oakland Soldiers...other players who suited up for the Soldiers that year included LeBron James and former Hornet DaShawn Freeman...is a cousin of former Sacramento State high flyer Jameel Pugh.
