Appeared in all 29 games, starting 28 times...posted averages of 5.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 21.3 minutes per game...shot 46.7 percent (63-135) from the field...after scoring in double figures once through the first 25 games of the season, Adams tallied at least 10 points in each of the final four games of the season...during that four-game span, he averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.8 steals per game while shooting 57.6 percent (19-33) from the field...that included a season-high 20 points (7-of-8 shooting) to go along with five rebounds, seven assists and seven steals in the Hornets’ 105-83 season finale victory over eventual conference champion Weber State...named Big Sky Player of the Week on Feb. 28 for his efforts against Weber State...had a combined 25 steals over his last nine games, and finished the year third in the Big Sky Conference with 2.03 steals per game...his 59 steals tied for the 64th best mark in the nation (tied for 10th best in the nation among players who appeared in less than 30 games)...the 59 steals also tied for the fifth highest mark in Sacramento State’s Div. I (1991-pres.) single-season history...had 10 points, four rebounds, four assists, one turnover and five steals in the team’s home victory against Montana State...had at least four steals on six occasions...played at least 31 minutes in three of the final four games of the season.

Played the 2005-06 season for Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas, after spending his freshman season (2004-05) at Div. I Texas State in San Marcos...as the team’s starting point guard and team co-captain, he led Collin County to a 21-9 overall record and a 9-5 mark in the North Texas League...started 26 of 30 games while averaging 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game...also averaged 3.5 trips to the free-throw line per game while leading the Cougars in free throws (90), free throws attempted (141) and assists (114)...also shot 44.2 percent (110-249) from the field...at Texas State, he played in 22 games (including six starts) while shooting 53.1 percent (26-49) from the field and averaging 15.7 minutes, 3.4 points and 1.5 assists per game.
A 2004 graduate of Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas...as a senior in 2003-04, Adams led the Longhorns to a 35-2 record, a region championship and a district championship...the team was also a Class 5A state finalist...was a second team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-district selection as a senior after averaging 15.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 5.0 apg...also an academic all-district selection and McDonald’s All-American nominee...during his three years with the varsity squad, Cedar Hill combined for a 97-8 record...that included a 58-game home winning streak.
Born Sept. 30, 1985...majoring in construction management...parents are Richard and Tammy Adams...brother, Rich, played basketball at Texas College in Tyler, Texas.
