Appeared in 19 games in his first season with the Hornets...averaged 2.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 11.6 minutes per game...shot 47.4 percent (18-38) from the field and 71.4 percent (5-7) from the free throw line...18 of his 29 rebounds during the season came on the offensive glass...had a season-high six points and season-high tying four rebounds against Utah Valley.

Junior College
Spent his freshman season (2007-08) playing for Brian Katz at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, Calif...averaged 13.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 30.2 minutes per game last season...was the second-leading scorer and the leading rebounder for a Delta team that finished the season with a 27-6 overall record and a 12-2 mark in the Big 8 Conference...shot 48.4 percent (154-318) from the field and 73.5 percent (125-170) from the free throw line...averaged 5.3 free throw attempts per game, and scored in double figures 21 times.

High School
A 2007 graduate of Lodi High School, where he was a three-year member of the varsity basketball squad...also competed in track and field, and badminton...in basketball, he was named the San Joaquin Athletic Association MVP during both his junior and senior seasons...as a senior, he averaged 20.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game...during his junior season, he finished with averages of 19.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game...a three-time all-league selection, including first team as a junior and senior, and honorable mention as a sophomore.
