HORNET HOOPS GOLF EXTRAVAGANZA PUSHED BACK TO MONDAY, JUNE 20

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Due to heavy rains that hit the Placerville area overnight and with more inclement weather expected to hit the area today, the second-annual Hornet Hoops Extravaganza golf tournament has been pushed back to Monday, June 20.
The tournament, which will still be held at the Cold Springs Country Club in Placerville, is hosted by the 6th Man Club - the fundraising arm of the Sacramento State men’s basketball program.
Members of the 6th Man Club and non-members are welcome to participate. Proceeds will benefit the men’s basketball team.
Shotgun start begins at 12:30 p.m. (registration begins at 11:30 a.m.) with teams consisting of four players in a better ball stableford format. Everyone plays their own ball and the top two scores for each hole count towards the team score. A barbecue and raffle will follow after the golfing has concluded. Participants can still sign up as individuals ($100 per player) or groups ($400 per foursome).
If you are unable to attend but would like to sponsor the event, hole sponsorships are available for $100. Non-golfers are also invited to attend the barbecue and raffle at a cost of $12.
