Winners of three of its last five games, Sacramento State (6-17, 3-9) travels to Bozeman to take on Montana State (11-13, 5-7) on Sunday, Feb. 13…tip-off at Worthington Arena is 11:05 a.m. PST…Sunday’s game is being televised by Altitude as the network’s Big Sky Game of the Week…Altitude, which is a regional sports network that serves the Rocky Mountain region, is offered with the sports package on both DirecTV (channel 681) and Dish Network (channel 410)…the game will also be aired on a tape delay basis locally on Comcast SportsNet California on Monday at 9 p.m…Sacramento State is coming off a 64-44 road loss at Montana Thursday night in which the Hornets shot just 31.4 percent from the field…still, the team has won three of its last five games, including home wins over Eastern Washington, Idaho State and Portland State over that five-game stretch…the Hornets are searching for their first road win of the year (0-12) and have dropped 15 straight road games dating back to last season…the Hornets have been close to victory a number of times on the road this year, which includes three overtime losses away from home…Montana State has dropped six straight games, including an 86-77 home loss to Northern Colorado on Thursday…the Bobcats are 8-2 at home, but have lost their last two games at Worthington…in the teams’ meeting earlier this year in Sacramento (Jan. 6), the Hornets squandered a five-point lead with just over four minutes to play before losing by a 61-59 score…that remains Montana State’s only road win of the season…Sunday’s game is a big one for playoff purposes as the Bobcats (5-7) currently hold the sixth and final spot into the Big Sky Tournament while the Hornets (3-9) are two games back…Montana State leads the all-time series between the two teams, 24-12, and has won the last six meetings...the Bobcats have won the previous four meetings in Bozeman with the Hornets’ last win at Worthington coming in the 2006 Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals…Sunday’s contest can be seen live and free via webcast at www.bigskytv.org…the game can be heard live locally on KRJY 1240 AM, and on the internet at www.hornetsports.com with play-by-play announcer Steve McElroy calling the action…live stats can be found at www.msubobcats.com.
