6TH MAN CLUB EVENT SCHEDULED FOR OCT. 7 AT THE EL PATRON BAR & GRILL

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The 6th Man Club, which is the fundraising arm of the Sacramento State men’s basketball program, is kicking off the 2009-10 season with its first social event on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the El Patron Bar and Grill.
The event is open to the public, and will allow fans, alumni and current 6th Man Club members the opportunity to listen to head coach Brian Katz discuss his recruiting class, the progress of the team, the 2009-10 schedule and much more.
Wednesday will be the first of many 6th Man Club events that are planned for the upcoming season. The El Patron Bar and Grill is less than a mile from the Sacramento State campus.
