WITH JUST THREE GAMES LEFT, MEN'S HOOPS TRAVELS TO NORTHERN ARIZONA

GAME PREVIEW
With just three games remaining in the season and the home portion of the schedule complete, Sacramento State (2-24, 1-12) will play the first of a three-game road trip at Northern Arizona (7-17, 4-9) on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 3:35 p.m. PST...the game will be televised live on the Universityhouse channel (Dish Network 9411) and Fox College Sports Central (Comcast 414, AT&T U-Verse 648), and on a tape delay basis on FSN Arizona (DirecTV 686, Dish Network 415) at 8 p.m...the game is part of a doubleheader as the Sacramento State women will face Northern Arizona at 1:05 p.m. PST...the Hornet men’s team has been eliminated from Big Sky Tournament contention and will try to play the roll of spoiler the remainder of the season...the top six teams in the nine-member league advance to the conference’s postseason event with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament....Northern Arizona, currently in eighth place, is fighting for its life to stay alive and is sitting two games back of the sixth-place spot...Northern Arizona is 24-9 all-time against the Hornets, including an 89-64 victory in Sacramento earlier this year (see box on pg. 16)...the 25-point deficit matches the worst loss the Hornets have suffered all year...Sacramento State is 2-14 against the Lumberjacks in Flagstaff...Saturday’s game can be seen live and free via webcast at www.bigskytv.org...the contest can be heard live on KRJY 1240 AM, and on the internet at www.hornetsports.com with 12th year play-by-play announcer Steve McElroy calling the action.
