Fresh off its second victory of the season, Sacramento State (2-19, 1-7) plays the final contest of a season-long four-game homestand on Thursday, Jan. 29, against Northern Colorado (8-13, 4-4)...tip is 7:05 p.m...the Hornets are coming off a 72-69 victory over Idaho State on Saturday evening...last Thursday, Sacramento State nearly beat Weber State at home before falling, 67-59...those two games were the first decided by less than 10 points all season long...Northern Colorado is currently fifth in the nine-team Big Sky Conference...the Bears, who are 2-9 on the road this season, have won three of their last five games, including a 91-73 home victory over the Hornets on Jan. 13...in that game, Sacramento State’s Loren Leath knocked down nine three-pointers on the way to a 41-point effort...the 41 points are tied for the ninth most in any Div.
