Sacramento State (4-23, 2-13) concludes the 2007-08 season with a home game against Weber State (14-13, 9-6) on Monday, March 3, at 7:05 p.m...Hornet seniors Jason Davis, Justin Williams and Clark Woods will be honored prior to the game for their contributions to the program...the game is meaningless in the Big Sky standings, as Weber State has already locked up third place and will host Montana State in the Big Sky Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 8...the Hornets will finish ninth in the standings and have failed to reach the Big Sky Tournament for the second straight year after reaching the postseason event four straight years from 2002-06...the top six teams in the nine-member league advance to the tournament...the Hornets’ four victories are the lowest in a season since the 1998-99 team finished with a 3-23 record...Weber State leads the all-time series between the two teams, 24-4, including a 69-56 victory earlier this year in Ogden, Utah...the Hornets are 3-10 against the Wildcats in Sacramento, including a 105-83 victory in the regular season finale last season inside the Hornets Nest...Sacramento State is 4-8 at home this year, but has lost the last three inside the friendly confines...Weber State is 3-9 on the road this year, and have lost four straight away from home...the Hornets have won their regular season finale four of the last five seasons...Monday’s game will be broadcast on hornetsports.com with 11th year play-by-play man Steve McElroy calling all the action...the game will not be aired on the Hornets’ flagship station (KSAC 1240 AM) due to a scheduling conflict...live stats of the game are available on hornetsports.com and a webcast can be seen for a fee at bigskytv.org.
