MEN'S HOOPS PLAYS FINAL BIG SKY ROAD GAME ON THURSDAY AT NAU

Sacramento State (4-20, 2-11) concludes its three-game road trip this Thursday, Feb. 21, when the team travels to Flagstaff, Ariz., to take on Northern Arizona (16-10, 8-5)...tipoff at the Walkup Skydome is 5:35 p.m. PST...the game will be televised live on Fox College Sports Pacific (Comcast, channel 415) and Universityhouse (Dish Network, channel 9411)...Thursday’s game can also be heard live on both KSAC 1240 AM and www.hornetsports.com with 11th year play-by-play man Steve McElroy calling all the action...the game against NAU is the first of just four games remaining on Sacramento State’s schedule...Sunday’s loss at Montana State knocked the Hornets out of contention for the Big Sky Tournament...the top six teams in the nine-member league reach the postseason event...Sacramento State will not be playing in the Big Sky Tournament for the second straight season after reaching the event four consecutive years (2002-06)...the Hornets will look to snap their road woes as the team is 0-13 away from home this season and has dropped 20 straight on the road dating back to last year...Thursday’s game will serve as the Hornets’ final Big Sky road game of the season...Sunday’s 87-82 loss at Montana State was the smallest margin of defeat vs. an opponent on the road...Northern Arizona leads the all-time series, 22-9, over Sacramento State...that includes a 13-2 record in Flagstaff...the Lumberjacks have won five straight overall, with the Hornets’ last win coming during the final regular season game of the 2004-05 season (87-86).
