basketball team will play its first game on Fox Sports on Saturday when

it visits No. 2 Stanford.

The game will be aired on Fox Sports Bay Area and begins at 5:30 p.m.

Sacramento State (5-2) is off to its best start in school history but

will have its hands full with the Cardinal (7-0). Stanford downed

Nevada, 68-39, on Thursday to extend its winning streak.

The game marks only the second time in school history that the two teams

have met. Stanford won the previous meeting, 68-33, in 1992.
