The Sacramento State men’s basketball booster club luncheon, scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, has been cancelled due to the Hornets advancing to the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference Tournament. The Hornets are currently in Ogden, Utah, where they will face No. 1 seed Weber State tonight at approximately 6:30 p.m. PST. Eastern Washington and Idaho State square off at 4 p.m. PST, with the Weber State-Sacramento State contest beginning approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the early game.
Should the Hornets beat Weber State, they would play for the Big Sky Tournament title and the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday, March 12, at 6 p.m. PST. The game will be aired on ESPN2.
The luncheon will be rescheduled for a later date.
