WEBER STATE PULLS AWAY FROM MEN'S BASKETBALL

Ogden, UT (Sports Network) - Slobodan Ocokoljic scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Weber State Wildcats to an 88-65 victory over the Sacramento State Hornets in Big Sky Conference action.

Ocokoljic finished the game 10-of-15 from the field with 11 rebounds, as the Wildcats (21-5, 11-0 Big Sky) won their 12th consecutive game. Jermaine Boyette added 17 points and seven assists while John Hamilton chipped in 14 points and Nic Sparrow 13 in the winning effort.

Derek Lambeth and Rashaad Hooks each scored 14 points to lead the Hornets (10-14, 4-7) who had their two-game winning streak snapped.

The Wildcats used a 13-6 spurt halfway through the first stanza, which allowed them to open up a 34-31 lead at intermission.

Weber State shot a scorching 63.0 percent from the field in the second half, while converting 17-of-19 at the charity stripe, as it pulled away for the 23- point victory.

The Wildcats shot 54.7 percent from the floor and connected on 24-of-30 at the free-throw line for the game, while the Hornets knocked in 43.4 percent from the field and 15-of-21 at the stripe.
