A constant threat on the defensive line…enjoyed his strongest season in 2005 after redshirting the previous year…one of the fastest defensive linemen on the team…has shown the ability to get to the quarterback.
2005 Season: Appeared in all 11 games as a defensive end…started eight games, including the final six of the year…concluded the season wtih 39 tackles, including 18 solos…had 8.5 tackles-for-loss for a combined 27 yards…that total included two sacks…had six tackles against Azusa Pacific, Idaho State and Eastern Washington…recorded five stops against Portland State and Weber State…had at least two tackles in 10 of the 11 games…recorded at least a half-tackle-for-loss in nine contests…had two TFLs in the win over Azusa Pacific…tallied sacks against ISU and EWU…recovered a fumble in the season opener at Cal.
2004 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
2003 Season: Played in all 11 games on the defensive line and on special teams…ended the year with 35 tackles, the third most by a defensive lineman...had four tackles-for-loss, including one sack...recovered a fumble against Northern Arizona...best game came against Eastern Washington where he tallied five solos and three assists for seven total tackles…was also credited with five solo stops against Montana…had at least five tackles in three of the last four games…recorded at least one tackle in all 11 games.
High School: Graduated from Florin High School in 2002...a three-sport athlete for the Panthers, Henderson played football, basketball and baseball...earned second team all-Metro football honors from the Sacramento Bee in 2001...also named first team all-Delta League that same season...served as team captain and was named Florin’s Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior...recorded 104 tackles with one forced fumble, nine sacks and a defensive touchdown as a senior...also had 61 carries for 433 yards and eight scores as a fullback.
