Prior to Sacramento State: Earned third team All-America honors by JC Gridwire following his sophomore season at Sacramento City JC...was named the 2006 Mid-Empire Defensive MVP and garnered first team all-league honors...finished the year with 53 total tackles (32 solo)...also had 3.5 tackles-for-loss, eight interceptions, two pass breakups and one forced fumble...played for former Hornet head coach Mike Clemons and defensive back Dannie Walker at Sacramento City.
High School: Graduated from Jesuit HS in 2004…played three years of varsity football for the Marauders…was named to the Sacramento Bee’s all-metro team following his junior and senior seasons…was the Delta League Defensive Player of the Year as a senior…had 70 tackles and four interceptions that year…also played wide receiver and led the team with 940 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns…Jesuit won the league title both years and was the Sac-Joaquin Section champions his junior season.
