2006 Season: Appeared in all 11 games…began the year at tight end but split time as a guard late in the year…started the final two games of the year at right guard…also played on special teams…did not make a catch.

Junior College: Spent two seasons at Grossmont JC in El Cajon, Calif…was an offensive captain…helped the team post a 13-1 overall record in 2005…defeated City College of San Francisco, 41-38, to win the California State Championship…also finished first in the J.C. Grid-Wire rankings…team went 8-0 en route to a Foothill Conference title…caught two touchdown passes against El Caminco in the Southern California playoffs…teamed with fellow Hornet Dallas Mauga.

High School: Graduated from Konawaena High School in Hawaii in 1998.

Personal: Born 2-6-80…is the oldest player on the team…enters the season at 27 years old…plans to major in communication studies…parents are Navy and Iokapeta Mareko.
