After two years at tight end, Navar was moved to the offensive line following spring ball.
2006 Season: Played in all 11 games as a tight end…caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown…first reception of the season came against Idaho State for a 6-yard score in the team’s road win…caught another 6-yard pass the following week against Portland State.
2005 Season: Played in eight games during his first collegiate season…ended the year with one catch for 12 yards…recorded that reception against Eastern Washington…also played on special teams.
High School: Graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2005…played three years of varsity football…started all 22 games as a junior and senior…was a two-time all-Baseline League selection at tight end…named to the all-region team following his last two years…his best single-game performance came in an upset of Upland HS where he caught three 3rd-down passes for first downs and also had eight pancake blocks on the line…caught 14 passes for 220 yards as a senior.
