Came to Sacramento State as a tight end but was moved to offensive line before the start of the season…will add depth to the unit this season.

2006 Season: Sat out the year as a redshirt.

High School: Graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside, Calif., in 2006…played two years of varsity football as a tight end…best game came against Mira Mesa HS where he had three catches…was primarily a blocking tight end…also played on the defensive line…earned all-academic honors from the San Diego Union Tribune.

Personal: Born 12-12-87…majoring in criminal justice…parents are Francisco and Heather Castillo…brother, Alex, plays volleyball at Pepperdine.
