2006 Season: Played in all 11 games at linebacker and on special teams…finished the year with three tackles…that total included solo stops against Boise State and Montana.

Prior to Sacramento State: Played two years at Grossmont JC…started at linebacker as a sophomore and helped lead the Griffins to a national title…team was 13-1 that season…as a freshman, he had 40 total tackles, including seven sacks…played at Grossmont with current teammates Jeremiah Markeo and Dallas Mauga.

High School: A 2004 graduate of Horizon High School in San Diego…was named all-Coastal League as a junior and senior…earned all-CIF honors as a running back as a junior…team qualified for the playoffs during each of his three varsity seasons…advanced to the CIF championship game during his junior season.

Personal: Born 1-20-86…majoring in communication studies…parents are Keith and Sheila Butler.
