Enters his final year with the opportunity to leave Sacramento State as the second leading tackler…needs just one tackle to tie for third place in school history and is 68 shy of second place…has started all 33 games of his career, the longest active streak on the team.

2006 Season: Named honorable mention all-Big Sky at safety…started all 11 games for the Hornets…ranked third on the team, and first among defensive backs, with 72 total tackles…had 34 solos and 38 assists…opened the year with 12 tackles at Boise State…also cracked double figures at Eastern Washington with 11…had a tackle in all 11 games and had at least four in 10 contests…forced a fumble against Cal Poly…was credited with three pass breakups.

2005 Season: Named second team all-West Region by Football Gazette and second team all-Big Sky for the second consecutive season…named co-Outstanding DB/LB on the team…shared the honor with Brent Webber…started all 11 games at free safety…had at least five tackles in each game…ended the year with 83 total tackles (51 solo, 32 assisted)…that total ranked second on the team…had 3.5 tackles for a combined loss of 23 yards and also intercepted a pair of passes…biggest game came against Montana where he had 11  tackles and a pass breakup…had nine stops, including a season-high seven solos, at Cal Poly…also had nine tackles in the win over Azusa Pacific…began the year with five tackles against Cal and never had fewer than six in a game for the rest of the year…intercepted passes against Azusa Pacific and Idaho State…had six solos against UC Davis and ISU…stopped a reverse for a 15-yard loss at Montana State.

2004 Season: Was named first team Freshman All-American and second team all-Big Sky following his first collegiate campaign…led all the defensive backs and ranked third on the team with 83 tackles…had at least four tackles in all 11 games…started every game at free safety…ended the season with double-digit tackles in the final three games…streak started with a career-high 12 tackles in the win against Montana State…followed that showing with 10 tackles at Montana…ended the year with 11 tackles, including nine solos against Cal Poly…all three of those opponents were ranked in the top 25…had nine total tackles, including two for loss at Idaho State…recorded his first collegiate sack at Montana…also forced a fumble against the Grizzlies…was credited with two pass breakups…opened his Sacramento State career with four solo tackles at Nevada…added seven tackles against both Southern Utah and UC Davis.

High School: Graduated from Stockdale High School in Bakersfield, Calif., in 2004…named first team all-area by the Bakersfield Californian…a two-time all-Southwest Yosemite League selection…amassed 157 tackles and 16 interceptions in his final two seasons…helped lead the Mustangs to an 8-4 overall record and a berth in the section semifinals…ran back two interceptions for touchdowns against Bakersfield HS…also played on the school’s baseball team…as a center fielder in baseball, he was the Southwest Yosemite League co-MVP, first team all-league and first team all-area as a junior.
