Will likely start at cornerback for the second straight season…established himself as the fastest man in the Big Sky Conference during the track season.
2006 Season: Appeared in seven games, starting six at cornerback…finished the season with 31 total tackles…had 18 solo stops and 13 assists…biggest game came at Boise State where he had two solos and five assists…also had five tackles against Northern Colorado and Idaho State, and four against Cal Poly and Montana…intercepted a pass and returned it 26 yards at UC Davis…also had a 7-yard TFL and two pass breakups against the Aggies…had seven PBUs during the year…ran track for the Hornets during the spring…qualified for the NCAA Championships and the U.S. Outdoor Championships in the 200…was the Big Sky indoor champion in the 55 and the 200…during the outdoor season, he won the 200 and was part of the 4x100 relay which also finished first…broke the school record in the 200 after running 20.64.
2005 Season: Appeared in 10 games, starting four at cornerback…tallied 29 tackles, including 19 solos…also had five pass breakups…recorded at least one tackle in every game he played…had five stops at Weber State…ended the year with four tackles in each of the final three games (Eastern Washington, Montana State, Montana)…also had four tackles against Azusa Pacific…established his career high with three PBUs in the win over Azusa Pacific.
2004 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
2003 Season: Saw action in five games at cornerback...amassed eight total tackles, including seven solo stops…also had one pass breakup and recovered a fumble against Saint Mary’s…had two solo tackles against Saint Mary’s, Idaho State and Montana State…added an assist at MSU for his top single-game total (three).
High School: A 2003 graduate from Centennial High School in Corona, Calif...competed in both football and track for four years...played wide receiver and defensive back...named first team all-Mountain View League and honorable mention all-county following his senior season...served as a team captain in 2002...football team won the Mountain View League title after posting a 13-1 overall record...recorded a game-winning interception in triple-overtime in the league title game...as a senior, he had 60 tackles, four interceptions and two touchdowns...attended the same high school as former Sacramento State standout and current New England Patriots long snapper Lonie Paxton.
