After playing quarterback for the past four years, made the switch to receiver during the first day of training camp…a local product from Oakmont HS, he is currently in his fifth season with the program.

2006 Season: Played in four games at quarterback…earned the start against Cal Poly…concluded the year 4-for-9 for 30 yards through the air…came on in relief at Boise State and was 3-for-6 for 25 yards…completed a pass for 11 yards for his season long.

2005 Season: Appeared in three games at quarterback…earned the start against Montana in the season finale…finished the season 1-for-11…saw his first collegiate action against Eastern Washington…also played at Montana State.

2004 Season: Was an active member of the team but did not see action.

2003 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Oakmont High School in Roseville, Calif...posted impressive numbers in his senior season...earned honorable mention all-city and first team all-Pioneer Valley League honors after throwing for 2,370 yards...led the Vikings to a 9-3 overall record...that same season, he was 115-for-218 (52.8 completion percentage) with 27 touchdowns and a 118 quarterback rating...ranked third in the Sacramento area among players from all divisions in total yardage, touchdowns and QB rating...also impressive on the ground where he amassed 230 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 67 carries...served as Oakmont’s kicker where he converted 39 PATs and two field goals.

Personal: Born 4-18-85...a marketing major...parents are Steve and Karen Wehr.
