Another local player from one of the top programs in Northern California…has the ability to play during his first collegiate season…coaches believe he will be solid against the run.
High School: Graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis, Calif., in 2006…was the 2005 Sacramento Bee Defensive Player of the Year…named all-Sac-Joaquin Section, all-metro and all-Sierra Foothill League as both a junior and senior…earned first team all-Northern California in 2005…was third team all-state that same season…helped Del Oro to a 13-0 record and a Sac-Joaquin Section Div. II title…tallied 51 tackles during the year…had at least two tackles in every game…had seven stops against both St. Mary’s (Stockton) and Burbank…had six tackles against Oak Ridge, Woodland and Christian Brothers.
