2010 Season: Was the team’s punter in all 11 games…averaged 36.5 yards per punt…had 53 attempts on the season and placed 14 inside the 20-yard line…had a 61-yarder at Montana for his career long…also had a 50-yard punt at Stanford…threw a 24-yard pass against Northern Colorado for a first down on a fake punt.
2009 Season: Earned second team all-Big Sky honors in his first season with the team…averaged 39.0 yards per punt on 53 attempts…placed 15 of his punts inside the 20-yard line…also forced the opposition into six fair catches which led to a net punt of 33.7 yards…was twice named the Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week…earned the award following wins against Portland State and Northern Arizona…his biggest play against NAU was a fake punt in which he gained 18 yards and a first down to preserve the drive and secure a 27-24 victory.
Prior to Sacramento State: Played one year at Butte JC and helped the Roadrunners to the national title with a 12-0 record...averaged 38.5 yards per punt and placed 15 punts inside the 20-yard line...as a kicker, he converted on 10-of-14 field goals with a long of 42 yards...named the team’s special teams MVP in three games...lists his best game as the national championship against Mt. SAC where he placed five of his eight punts inside the 20-yard line...also made a 27-yard field goal and was 2-for-2 on extra points in that game.
High School: Graduated from Pleasant Valley HS in 2008...named third team all-state by Cal-Hi Sports as a senior...also earned first team all-Northern Section and first team all-Eastern Athletic League in his final two years...set 12 school records in punting and kicking...netted 36.2 yards per punt on 73 high school attempts...had a career long field goal of 40 yards.
Personal: Born 6-14-90...majoring in business administration...parents are Fred and Julie Heath...his father played football at Cal Poly Pomona and Colorado.
