2010 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Escalon HS…played running back, defensive back and kicker…earned first team all-Trans-Valley League honors as both a defensive back and kicker…rushed for 695 yards on 122 carries (5.70 yards per rush) as a senior…caught 10 passes for 245 yards…rushed for seven touchdowns and caught three…defensively, he tallied 23 total tackles…as a kicker, 33 of his 70 kickoffs went for touchbacks…finished his senior season with six field goals and 52 extra points.

Personal: Born 7-24-92...has yet to declare a major...parents are Paul and Kathleen Diniz…his brother, Chris, was the Hornets’ kicker in 2009-10.
