2009 Season: Started all 11 games during the season to increase his streak 23 games…ranked third on the team with 68 total tackles…that mark included 39 solos…also had one interception and two pass breakups…led the team by forcing three fumbles…opened the season with a career-high 13 tackles at UNLV…had at least three stops in each of the remaining 10 games despite being plagued by a shoulder injury which was suffered at Cal Poly in the second week…was one of five players to start all 11 games on defense…partnered at safety with Zach Schrader for each of those contests.

2008 Season: Named honorable mention all-Big Sky as a true freshman…was the only member of the secondary to start all 12 games…played the first 10 games at cornerback before moving to safety for the final two…led the team with four interceptions…ranked third on the team with 76 total tackles…had three games with at least 10 tackles to lead the team…recorded 11 stops against Montana State and had 10 against Northern Colorado and Weber State…had at least two tackles in all 12 games…returned an interception 15 yards for a touchdown in the win against Portland State…also led the team with seven pass breakups.

High School:
Graduated from Seaside HS in 2008…named to the all-Monterey County team as both a wide receiver and defensive back by the Salinas Californian and the Monterey County Herald following his senior season…was the Monterey Bay League MVP as a senior and earned first team all-MBL honors at both positions…finished the 2007 season as the team’s leading receiver, third leading rusher, and leading scorer…had 43 receptions for 816 yards and eight touchdowns as a receiver…rushed 36 times for three touchdowns and scored 82 total points…had five touchdowns of at least 40 yards…returned two punts for touchdowns as a senior and also filled in at quarterback…recorded one interception his senior year…was also named all-Monterey County as a junior for his efforts at defensive back.
