2009 Season: Earned honorable mention all-Big Sky honors for the first time in his career…ranked second on the team with 40 receptions and third with 409 yards…joined John Hendershott as the only Hornets to catch a pass in all 11 games…all three of his touchdowns came in a two-week span…caught a career-high seven passes for 73 yards and two scores at Portland State…the game marked the first time he caught multiple TDs at Sacramento State…followed that effort with three catches for 65 yards and a score against Idaho State…his 54-yard TD against the Bengals was the longest reception by a Hornet during the year.

2008 Season: Appeared in 12 games, starting six at receiver…grabbed 19 passes for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns…caught a season-high four passes, including one touchdown, against both Humboldt State and Weber State…also had 34 receiving yards against WSU for his top total…caught at least one pass in eight games.

2007 Season: Played in 10 games during his freshman season…finished the year with 24 receptions for 264 yards and a pair of touchdowns…scored his first career touchdown with a 19-yard grab in the win over Northern Arizona…added a 39-yard TD catch at Northern Colorado…had six catches for 40 yards at Portland State…made five receptions for 43 yards at Weber State…highest yardage output was 54 yards against Northern Arizona.

High School:
Graduated from Rocklin HS in 2007…played four years of football and basketball, three years of track and one year of baseball for the Thunder…named first team all-Sierra Foothill League as a senior and was a second team selection following his junior season…finished his senior season with 39 receptions for 591 yards and seven touchdowns…lists his seven reception, 120-yard performance against Oakmont as his best game…also helped Rocklin to the 2006-07 SFL basketball title…was named the school’s student-athlete of the year as a senior.

Personal: Born 4-1-89…a business administration major…parents are Steven and Lelia Lane…brother, Brendan, is a member of the UCLA basketball team.
